I belong to a very small village named Harraypur, District – Pilibhit ( UP ).My basic education up to 8th class was completed in government School i.e. Primary and Secondary schools of my village in Hindi Medium. From 6th Class, I started learning English Alphabet. Later on I did my 9th and 10th from Gurunanak Higher Secondary School ,Bhaisah Dist-Pilibhit.After completing my 10th we shifted in Bareilly as my father got Group job in Bareilly .
I come from mineral rich yet one of the poorest state of Jharkhand. My basic education up to 5th class was completed in a local school in Hindi Medium. From 6th Class I moved to DAV Public School managed by CCL (Central Coalfield Limited) with which my father was employed as a clerk and went on to finished my matriculation there with CBSE board. After completing my 10th I appeared in 10+2 entrance examination conducted by AMU.
As the result is out there is a lot of euphoria surrounding the result. A lot of statements, some myths, some realities, some exaggerations have been made about the successful candidate. Being one of those successful candidates who finally made it to the coveted list of Civil Services-2014, I too was surrounded by the mist of such information. Thus I thought to clear the air around me.
I belong to a remote village in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. After completing my 10th from local school, I joined Aligarh Muslim University in 2004.I completed civil engineering in 2011 with CPI of just little above 7. Though got recruited in some company during campus placements, I didn’t join and instead pursued M Tech in Hydraulic engineering at AMU only. After completing 3 semsters (Dec 2012).
I am FARHA HUSSAIN. I belong to Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan and I cleared UPSC Civil Services Examination this year with a rank of 267. I want to share my story with you all and try and contribute towards motivating young students and aspirants. I cannot make any tall claims like a lot of successful aspirants of having suffered hardships or any lack of facilities.
